“WE SHOULD HAVE SELF-RESPECT IN ORDER TO MAKE OTHERS RESPECT US” | Alpha Arts and Science College | Chennai

The following blog is written by the students of Alpha arts and science college Chennai, about the division between humans both mentally and physically.

BEING HUMAN

We, as humans face so many problems physically and mentally. They may be direct or indirect. One such indirect mentally challenging problem is language. In India, we have so many religions and languages and we are not only divided physically (by physical boundaries) but we are also divided mentally because of the differences in our language, custom, and tradition.

We know a proverb called “UNITY IS STRENGTH”, this says people are strong and will become the strongest when they are united. We will take continent Asia for an example, Asia has different countries, which have different languages in it, but India is the only country, which has many languages, and it is unique. India is unique but not united.

People from other countries and continents may realize our country India’s richness in resources, religions, and languages. Even though they realize our wellness, we the people of India have not respected our Uniqueness. We have not realized the achievements of our own country when the outsiders can.

“WE SHOULD HAVE SELF-RESPECT IN ORDER TO MAKE OTHERS RESPECT US”

We as Indians should respect our ancestors, achievements, and uniqueness. We should be united irrespective of religion, caste, and languages. People lose their precious things by having a desire for an empty treasure, which is far away from them.

Therefore, let us not become the people who lose their identification and their country. Let us respect our identity, uniqueness and be united.

“Beautiful music plays but not everyone with ears can hear it” | Blogs | Alpha arts and science college | Chennai

The blog about Beauty of the music by the student of Alpha arts and science college
THE BEAUTY OF MUSIC
We all know that music has eternal power that holds the entire world in its hand. Music is all around us and it is a great gift that God has given us freely from the beginning. Trees and flowers make music when the cool breeze blows in the morning. The bird sings sweetly with their gorgeous soprano. Waterfalls, wind whistles, Nature sings. The Book of the Songs of Solomon 2:12 says, “The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds comes, the LORD hath done great things for them”. When we hear the music of nature, surely we are moved to experience deep emotions. We may find ourselves pouring out deep thoughts in a poem, or feel inspired or excited to achieve something beyond our abilities. It has the power to heal, the power to renew, and the power to energize. The Bible describes the Israelites as singing a song of joy and celebration, a spontaneous outburst of emotion after they crossed the Red Sea and escaped from Pharaoh.
Even though some people cannot understand the lyrics, they will tune their feelings according to their situation. They can feel, act and say something from each precious line. Even I have the same type of feelings while listening to music my heart pumps like an empty vessel filled with water from the tap with a high sound. My emotions start to overflow. My pillow will be filled with tears. Most of the people will listen to music when they feel sad. It is all because of its flow of lines, words, rhythm. All together makes music perfect. True beauty is music
“Beautiful music is the art of prophets that can calm the agitation of the soul; it is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us” by Martin Luther. Pregnant ladies from the date of pregnancy listen to happy music to make themselves feel fresh, the womb to have peace, as babies too respond to music. Those who are much addicted to music will never feel lonely because their entire world will be their music according to them.
